School accreditation is a process of evaluation which begins with a self-study, followed by a visit of objective observers. It is completely voluntary and is a national, rigorous process designed to evaluate schools on the basis of their unique purposes......We are very pleased to announce that the visiting team recommended another full seven year accreditation.
There is nothing simpler yet more complicated than love....We at Our Savior’s Lutheran School feel especially blessed that we are able to articulate the love of God to our students in our preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school....Here’s to a month of embracing the joy of true love and showing our children that they are miraculously loved and adored!
At Our Savior’s Lutheran School, I can safely say the answer is no....For students to be successful, learning can’t be an either/or. It has to be a both/and. That is what we have been doing at OSLS for many years.
STEAM is something different because it involves the active engagement of the students in problem solving, critical thinking and cooperation.
We are coding! "Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path."
This is my first blog as principal for Our Savior’s Lutheran School (OSLS). I wanted to provide a brief introduction to the school before I jump into the topic. The school at Our Savior’s has been in existence since 1956--starting as a preschool and adding elementary after just a few years. As Lutheran Christians, we follow the command of Jesus (Mark 12:30-31 & John 13:34) to love God and love our neighbor.
