Mrs. Katherine Yeakel
Katherine, or Kat as folks on campus know her as, has been serving with the Our Savior's Lutheran Church team since 2006. Katherine came to know Christ in Jr. High where she experienced a life changing event meeting Bishop Desmond Tu-Tu at the National ELCA Youth Conference in St. Louis! Katherine gives all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for her drive to change the lives of children and families locally and around the world. This drive is the founding block of her involvement with the American Cancer Society among other community outreach groups. Katherine graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development, has multiple education certificates in Early Childhood from Orange Coast College, and also holds a CTC Master Teaching Permit. Katherine's favorite hobbies include spending time with her husband Matthew and her new baby boy William, cooking, traveling, and leading the new Sunday School crew here at Our Savior's! Oh-and watching her boys in blue-GO DODGERS!
